ServOrg - Service Orchestrator

Introduction

The PowerPlay Service Orchestrator provides a centralised way for you to manage the various applications that you will be serving to your customers.

Enabling your Service Orchestrator

To enable your Service Orchestrator, please first ensure that you have provisioned a ServOrg and CustOrg, and have completed the ServOrg post-deployment steps. With those complete, you can enable the Service Orchestrator by following the instructions below:

  1. With your ServOrg Deployment, you will have been provided with a Service-Orchestrator-Library solution under your Managed Solutions. We need to assign the Service Orchestrator User security role to either a subset of users or groups in our ServOrg's tenancy:
    1. In the Power Platform Admin Center, open the Users section for your ServOrg environment
    2. For each user who requires access to the Service Orchestrator, select ⁝ (More Options) > Manage security roles
    3. You can then assign the Service Orchestrator User role and click Save
  2. Share the Service Orchestrator app with any users who will require access. (Under the Service-Orchestrator-Library managed solution, open the Apps tab under the Objects panel, and select the ⁝ (More Options) > Share.)
  3. Back in the Apps list for your Service-Orchestrator-Library Managed Solution, select the Service Orchestrator app, Details, then copy the Web link.
  4. Finally, play (⁝ (More Options) > Play) and enter your DeskDirector domain and the weblink we copied in the previous step
